Selected Speaker Topic Titles:

  • High-Functioning Teams and Organizations – We have all been on great teams and bad teams. The key is knowing how to be a high-functioning organization. Eddie Hill will go over the keys to the four stages of a team. Stage four is full steam ahead. Most groups and organizations never make it because they don’t know the five things you must do to excel. Eddie will cover this, beginning with knowing your purpose to making sure everyone is included in every way. The best part of the presentation is that it is interactive, and the group will really enjoy the activities and conversation.
  • D.I.S.C. Personality Inventory– Over five million people have taken the D.I.S.C. Inventory, which tells people their individual strengths and weaknesses. Each person goes online and answers 24 simple questions.  Each person will receive a personal report at our session. Eddie goes over the results and does it in a very fun way. There are four types of people: 1. Direct people (we all know who they are!) Inspiring people (always upbeat and optimistic but talk way too much), Steady workers, not leaders, but you can always count on them, and the thinkers. (Great at problem solving, but can be slow and not always personable). So, how do all these folks function together at a high level? Eddie will explain and do it in an entertaining way.
  • Team Work More Fun More Productive– Maybe what your group needs is to laugh and enjoy each other more. This session will include activities that prove the value of working together. Eddie has led over 1,000 fun session groups. He is often asked to speak to the same groups over and over forcing him to come up with some new “crap”!  The group can choose different activities, including Minute to Win It, service options like bike builds or packing boxes for the troops. Let’s be creative and come up with something cool.
  • Board Retreats- Do something fun and interactive! Eddie will plan a 2, 4, or 6-hour outing using many of the topics and ideas mentioned in other sessions, including the stages of a team, leadership 101, and the D.I.S.C. inventory, which will help everyone to understand what makes the other board members tick. The retreat is a mixture of fun and substance. Eddie will coordinate with the leaders and come up with a customized event.
