LaShanya began her career over 30 years ago, in Chicago, as an electrical engineer for a major
telecommunications company. Because she was good technically, she got promoted to become a
supervisor. Unfortunately, her engineering education did not empower her with the tools to be
effective with people. As a result, not long after her promotion she found herself fired. This
experience inspired her to learn what separates the best from the rest when it comes to being
effective withing teams and organizations. She is a certified speaker, trainer, coach, and consultant.
Today her company offers training, coaching, meeting facilitation and more in the following areas: leadership, change management, emotional intelligence, effective communications, team building, sustained inspiration, and more.
